Overview
​
March Madness Mixed Media Animations is a mixed media series created to recirculate The Players’ Tribune’s most compelling NCAA tournament stories during March Madness. By blending video clips with hand-drawn animation, the series adds new energy to archived stories and reintroduces them to a tournament-time audience. 

Objectives 
​
1. Curate impactful video clips and narrative moments that highlight each athlete’s March Madness experience. 

2. Print video frames and animate over them by hand to create a textured, stop-motion effect.

3. Design a custom typeface to bring visual consistency and personality to the series.

​4. Reinforce the emotion and individuality of each story through layered motion and visual storytelling.
