Overview

Court Rules is a short zine exploring the crossover between tennis terminology and everyday language. Inspired by the bold, tactile aesthetic of risograph printing, the project plays with typography and layout to highlight the double meanings and cultural resonance of common tennis phrases. 

Objectives

1. Design a visually playful and cohesive zine using tennis-inspired language as the foundation. 

2. Explore the intersection of sport and language through layout, color, and print-inspired texture. 

​3. Capture the energy of risograph printing through digital design, emphasizing bold color overlays and layered type treatments.
